Some wedding planners are there during the day, some wedding planners aren't; we personally prefer to be there on the day as we have spent so much time and effort organizing the wedding to make sure it's all perfect, and if we're not there actually on the day to make sure it happens as it's supposed to, we'll just spend the day at home worrying anyway, so we'd rather be there on the day.
