wow, mientras muchos de ustedes tratan de aprender a hablar bien el español, lo cual hablo perfectamente porque es mi lengua materna, yo trato de aprender bien el inglés.

Instead of "puedo pagar mi cuenta" you can say "La cuenta, por favor". It's easier and correct.

Why would you say to your bartender: Let's find a place to sit. LMAO!?

whats the matter with you people? there are many ways to say the same thing. RELAX the guy did a great job. btw if you TRY to speak Spanish the bartender he will be happy that you tied to speak his language and thats what counts...

Some of the comments left here, about this Spanish lesson, are frankly not very kind. I think the most important thing is the attempt at communicating in a different language, rather than pointing the finger - it's not like this is high grade material - it's free! (thank you videojug). I could say that half of the people leaving comments here in English have awful grammar (even those claiming to be teachers) But then that makes me just as bad doesn't it?. Rather than putting this man down for using incorrect grammar or less than usual language - shouldn't we all be patting him on the back for taking the time out of his life to try and teach people something. In most languages there are many ways to ask for the same thing. But at the end of the day we all understand each-other and being picky about it just undermines the whole point of learning another language.

but not bad for some dumb american students going to Tijuana or whatever

    pitreichert  (207 days ago)

That guy's definitely not speaking european castellano. No bartender in europe cares about the guests driverslicence, and the guy doesn't pronounce the "c" right. And there is more...

If you want all the people in the bar to laugh at you this guy is the right teacher.

i dunno bout all that but the guys fit

As I said before, if you say that in Spain they will laugh at you. Most of phrases have no sense. The video is funny, but not convenient. Phrases such as "¿Sí, usted puede ver que mi licencia de conductores." sound silly and don't make sense. It's obvious that if you have a driving license they will be able to see it. Why does a bartender want to take a look at your driving license?
