The fruit and veg today is not anywhere close to the same we had 10,000 years ago, or even 100 years ago. It is all selectively made to look good in shelves (I am not talking GMO food, just normal fruit and veg at any normal store, even "organic stores"). People evolved over millions of years and know how to digest fruit and veg very well, but the stuff sold in supermarkets are apples that do not bruise and tomatos that can withstand long distances of modern food travel. I am sorry to burst anyone's bubble, but the food we eat today is no where close to the nutrition fruit and veg we had even 100 years ago, let alone 10,000 years ago. Vitamind D by sitting in the sun - Excellent. Other vitamins and minerals by eating fruit and veg? It is impossible unless you want to eat 10 heads of lettuce, 20 carrots, etc... each day. You could not consume enough vegatables today, to get the nutrients we had in our diets not very long ago. Monsanto and ADM are criminals, as they know all about this, but go only for profit. Wow.
