Hi, my name is Sunita Passi, and I am from a company called Tri-Dosha, we are specialists in training in Ayurvedic therapy and also meditation, and we supply products and treatment to some luxury spas around the world. There are many ways to meditate and I am here today, to talk to you about the few of the different meditation techniques, you can bring into your life, in order to feel happier and healthier. I am here to give you some guidance on foods for clear skin.
Have you ever heard of the phrase that you are what you eat? For this seems to be a phrase that turns around left, right and center, but essence behind is very very true. You are actually what you eat! And it is important to understand your own constitution, so that you can choose the food groups that actually compliment your body type, and enhance the look of your external skin. There are many approaches to this, the first thing you need to do to is to either read a book, or search on the web some information that specifically relates to your body type.
And the way to do this, you would naturally be giving a concentration or an analysis in which you have to answer specific questions, and this would actually give you rating at the end. Once you have this rating, you then will able to fit your body type in to a certain category, which would then actually tell you, which foods are favorable and which foods to avoid. Now I am going to give an example of some food group which is particularly good to help enhance clear skin.
The first things I want to tell you about are antioxidants. Antioxidants can be found in certain food groups that may contain nutrients which are particularly good to help to avoid degeneration of the body; they also have vitamins A, C and E and also contain more complex B vitamins. Antioxidants also play a key role in destroying free radicals.
All of these things lead to clear beautiful skin, so that it is definitely worth sourcing of food groups that contain a high level of antioxidants. I also want to tell you about vitamin C in particular. Vitamin C is a great producer of collagen.
Collagen is the elastic tissue that declines as our skin ages. By taking lots and lots of vitamin C, you are able to actually reduce the impact that the reduction of collagen may have over time and then for again, enhance the feeling in the look of clear skin. Now the easy and very very simple thing you should be doing is drinking plenty of water everyday.
It is generally said that we should be drinking eight glasses of water per day. Most of us find that quite difficult, but I must say that the best thing to do is to take an empty bottle out every morning, fill it out with water, make sure that you got it next to you in your office or wherever you sit to do your work. That way you have got no excuse really.
