A very beautiful way of meditating is to do what's called a chakra meditation. Chakra meditation is a method of meditating, a way of really focusing in on the seven energetic centers in your body. One of the beautiful things about the chakra meditation is that you always feel different afterwards and I would say that that difference is always a positive difference and it's well worth trying and, like everything else, experiment with it and see what happens.

See how it changes how you feel in that moment and if you've got to practice, going on doing meditations everyday, see what happens to your whole life, see what happens to your day, see what happens to your week. Enjoy.

So there are thousands and thousands of pages written about chakras, the energetic body and the energy system, information that's come down through many different wisdom traditions and it's way beyond the scope of this little introduction video.

So let me just give a very quick rundown. We have seven basic chakras. The first one is located right in here, perineum, between the legs.

The second chakra, just above the pubic bone, just below the navel. Third one, around the diaphragm, up in here. The fourth chakra is the heart chakra, up around your heart.

The fifth chakra is your throat. The sixth chakra is the third eye. And the seventh chakra, crown of your head, up here.
