A Guide To Electional Astrology

Today, I am going to talk about various aspects of astrology. Electional astrology is where the astrologer suggests the most appropriate time for a specific event. Now, this event could be a date of marriage, it could be setting up a company, it could be moving house.

As electional astrology has been used for thousands of years, traditionally is was used to suggest the right date for a royal wedding or a date to go into battle. Electional astrology is still very popular in the East where it is very rare for two people to get married or for a company to make a major decision without consulting an astrologer as to the best time for that to take place. Now if you go to an astrologer and you ask him, "Can you elect a time for me to buy a winning lottery ticket?", he will probably say, "Not a chance," because the thing with electional astrology is that you can only elect the time for something to happen that is shown as a possibility within your birth charts.

And so, with things that are much more uncertain, the astrologer may give you an increased likelihood or give you a day that is most appropriate, but it still gives no guarantee that it will actually take place as you would like it. What an electional astrology can do is just select the best day to give you maximum chance or increase the effectiveness of what you are trying to achieve. So therefore, of course, it is very important to be very realistic when using electional astrology.

Now the other thing is that there is never a perfect day for what you want to achieve. So, for example if you are wanting to select the day of marriage, there may be one day that supports harmony in the marriage, and another day may be better for having a large family, for example. So compromises therefore have to be made, and this is where the priorities and the values of the client come in.

So if you are realistic about what you are trying to achieve, electional astrology can be a very useful tool in finding out the best day for that to take place. .
