A Guide To Food For Glowing Skin
If you want healthy, glowing skin, nutrition is important. Certain food groups are essential for health skin and hair. Follow this simple guide to food for glowing skin.
Hi. My name's Sunita Passi from Tri Dosha, where specialists are training providers in Ayurvedic massage, nutrition, and I'm looking forward to telling you about how to transform your life with a variety of different techniques. It could be that time of year.
It might be time for you to get in to your bikini and head to the beaches. You might simply want glowing hair for a party. You want skin and hair to coincide with an event that's taking place.
There's lots of things that you can do to actually get the inner beauty so that it shows on the outside. One of the first things I want to say is you want to avoid any kind of prepacked food, any kind of saturated fats, and obviously any kind of junk food, because this is actually going to go against the Holy grain of what you want to achieve. Some of the key points, if you're looking to get healthy glow to your skin and your hair, are to focus on certain food groups.
The first one I'm going to tell you about are essential fatty acids. Essential fatty acids actually come in two groups - Omega-3 and Omega-6 - and it's both of these that actually help support glowing skin and healthy-looking hair. Another food group worth looking at are antioxidants.
Antioxidants, again, come in many forms, and their main component is to destroy free radicals. Free radical damage in skin is collagen, and collagen keeps the skin plump and nourished. So, by destroying this, you're also destroying the tissue layers of the skin.
Vitamin A is another food group that you need to look out for. Vitamin A supports healthy and glowing skin, it's vital for healthy eyes and for hair, and it can also support dry, flaky skin. Vitamin E is also fantastic.
It helps support premature aging, it's very supple for the skin, it also has anti-aging qualities. So this is fantastic for anyone who feels their skin is starting to slip in these sorts of areas. Beta-carotene is another ingredient that you could look out for, and this actually supports the body in blocking it from sunlight, so again it's fantastic if you want to reduce the effects of sun damage, and this can be found in lots of leafy greens.
And finally, I wanted to tell you about iron. Many women, many men, complain about a deficiency of iron. This can often be seen by dark circles under the eyes.
By increasing your iron intake, you're going to increase the circulation around the eyes, and this can be found in red meat, liver, or eggs. Follow these simple tips to help your skin glow. Thank you very much.
