A Guide To Medical Astrology
What does it require to be a medical astrologer? What are the techniques involved in the medical astrology? Here is a guide from Nick Hughes
Hi, I am Nick Hughes. I am an astrologer and teacher. I have been working in this field for the last 10 years.
Today, I am going to be talking about various aspects of astrology. This is a guide to medical astrology. The first thing to point is that it's illegal to diagnose and treat people for serious medical conditions if you are not suitably trained.
So the medical astrologer who is not a qualified doctor can provide a lot of insights and understanding about the body but it better not to diagnose acute medical condition. Now, medical astrology has been used for thousands of years and in particularly in the middle ages and in the ancient Greece. It was common for doctors to be astrologists, they would use the two in combination to treat their patients.
And one of the main ways of doing that is by studying the natal charts, the birth charts of an individual, you can see which organs are likely to maybe a bit suppressed or which organs maybe in excess, or where there may be certain tensions in the body and by seeing those potentials one can do a lot of preventive medicine rather than waiting for any of this to happen to be pre-empted to strengthen organs that could be constitutionally weak. Now as well as studying the natal chart, there is another useful technique in medical astrology which is the use of discomfiture chart. Now, what that does is that it takes the moment a person falls ill and by studying the chart at that time, very specific information can be revealed to the astrologer about how to tackle that and to engage and understand that that particular illness.
So the use of astrology in medicine had a long history and can be very well utilized by an experienced astrologer in helping a client with the health problems. .
