Hi. I am Susie Jefferson, and I am thrilled to be invited by Kaye and Graham of Blade Rubber Stamps to come to talk to you today all about I know about scrapbooking. Hi.

Right now, we are going to have a look at just a couple of scrapbook techniques. Really, this is what we're going to use to glue stuff to stuff where it's not going to come off again. Right, here I have got 2 types of scrapbook papers.

This one is just a nice plain surface but this one has got glitter on it. So, I know a lot of people who tend to worry what is going to stick to what. So, I can say that most things you can use on a plain paper without any trouble whatsoever.

Stickers, little embellished stickers, that's on the sticky dots, etc., will straight go on to here with no problem at all. You can use your tape pens, you can use your glue sticks.

However, when you're getting on to glitter paper, people tend to worry. Now in the plain area, the same goes. But if you are happening to put something on top of a bit of glitter, it won't always stick.

So in that case, I would suggest something like, the UHU, Glue Gel, again Collall is a different type of Glue Gel and all of these would stick them firmly. If you need to, you have not only got you little firm pad on the back, you can also add it up with one of these glues. Something like buttons, either paper you are going to need something stronger.

UHU might just squish through your button holes, I would go for something like a Glue Gel, or a Silicone Gel. They will dry clear, you won't see them, they will be totally invisible. Something like these heavy letters again, should stick without any problem using the UHU, glue sticks, even the tape pens, double sided tapes, fine on of these plain papers.

On a glitter paper, again you need something stronger. So something like a Silicone Glue, or a Glue Gel or even a UHU will go up and down over the lumps and bumps, so anything that you have got like a heavily embossed paper, it will stick to absolutely fine and they won't come off. Now another thing, you may want to use your Silicone glue for or your Glue Gel for is where you have accidentally destroyed something.

Here is one I ruined earlier; my petals came off right there because I only had a little blob in the middle. So in that case, I am simply going to squeeze out a little bit of my gel. Normally, I would use a cocktail stick or something, get a good little sticking bit there, pop that back in place, hold for a second, and that's now going to be absolutely rock solid and that will not come off again.

And that's a very short guide to Scrapbooking Techniques. .
