Hi, there. I'm Abi Cleeve, from Ultrasun. I've been in the sun care industry for thirteen years, really helping people to make the right decisions on their sun care choices.

Today, I'm going to try and do the same for you. When it comes to the sun and skin care, we all know that the sun can really undo that brilliant work we're doing with our moisturizers and our serums, and our anti-aging ingredients. It's essential that we understand that the sun is the single most damaging factor we put our skin into every single day.

For that reason, it's really important to think about your sun care and your skin care together, and find what works for you. You should always apply your sun protection before you apply your skin care. That means apply your sun protection to clean, dry skin, and do this first.

If you have other products, serums or moisturizers you want to apply, you should do that afterwards, and wait at least ten minutes in between. You may notice that in your skin care these days, there is the addition of SPF or UVA filters. This is truly excellent.

The more SPF we can get out there, the better. However, be aware that these SPF's and these filters are often not photo-stable, and that means they're not going to last all day. It's really important to use a proper sun protection to give you the sun protection you need.

And then use these products on a daily basis, to re-hydrate your skin. When you're using skin care and your sun care in conjunction, make sure your sun care goes on first, but then don't use products that contain oils, because these can often break down your sun protection. It's very important that you have adequate sun protection, and if you're somebody that cares about the look of your skin as well as its health, you'll know that this is vital to do.

When establishing your skin care routine, you're looking to improve the look and the health and the feel of your skin. Remember that the sun is the single most damaging factor to this, so make sure it always starts with fantastic sun protection. .
