That typical referral can go around the thumb region, and then also uppinus pollicis.

Opposition would actually bring the fingers like this. So, opposition of the thumb - when the thumb actually goes like this then.
That's just a little bit inferior to the adductor pollicis.
So again pollicis, the technical name, means thumb.
