You need to go to a good makeup artist to get a gorgeous look like the one Aishwarya Rai has, especially her eyes. But here are the hints in this video.
Hi. Today, I'm going to show you how to do Aishwarya Rai makeup and the main focal point of today is going to be the eye area. So, over here, we've already applied foundation, concealer, loose powder and I've also filled in Sheena's eyebrows and set them and I have put on an eye primer as well.
This will help the eye shadow actually stick to the eyelid area and last longer. Now, I'm just going to apply this creamy eye shadow color. It's called a Play Pot from Mac.
Just with your ring finger, just apply this to the eyelid area. I'm just applying this creamy ivory color just to neutralize the color along the eyelid area because Aishwarya Rai has really nice neutral makeup most of the time. So we're just going to get that shade all blended in there.
Now, as I said, Aishwarya Rai always has very nice neutral eye makeup and then she has really nice sharp flicked eyeliner. So that's the look that we're going to go for today and with a flat eye shadow brush, I'm just going to go with this neutral ivory toned color. Just press the eye shadow into the brush, then tap off the excess.
Pull the eyelid taut, and we're just going to apply this really nice neutral ivory color from the inner lid area across the eye. Now, we're going to stick to neutral tones today so I'm just to go in for this sort of brown pinky shadow over here. Again, with this flat applicator brush, I'm just picking up the eye shadow, tapping it off and this eye shadow is going to go in this outer V area here, so we're just going to place it here, press it in gently.
Then with a medium flat brush, we're going to go in for the highlighting area over here by the brow and Aishwarya Rai has really nice matte brow area so we're going to go in with this really nice matte ivory shade. You can wear shimmer if you want but to get the sort of more typical Aishwarya Rai look, it's good to go for matte eye shadow. Place this along the brow bone area, really close to the eyebrow.
Then with a fluffy blending brush, this is where you're going to blend the eye shadows together and I'm going to go in for this soft brown color over here but you can use any type of soft browny eye shadow for this look. Tap off the excess. You're going to blend in circular motions just along this harsh edge here.
Okay, blend back and forth. Then I'm going to use a larger fluffy tapered brush and you don't have to do this technique in this eye look but I'm just going to just soften the eye area more and blend it to more into the brow bone. So with no eye shadow on the brush, I'm just going to blend all the colors together.
Then with a pencil eyeliner, I'm going to line waterline area. Just open up your eyes and just look up, press gently working into the eye waterline area. Just gently work it into the waterline area.
Now, the key to the Aishwarya Rai eye look is her nice really dark black eyeliner with a flick. So I'm going to use a pointed eyeliner brush. This is from Bobby Brown, it's a very good brush to do this flicked eyeliner with and I'm going to use a gel eyeliner in black.
Just pick up the eyeliner gently, just getting the tip of the brush into it. Just close your eyes. Now, to start the eyeliner, we're going to start in the middle.
This just helps you to control the actual eyeliner on the eye. Small flicked motions and then going to the inner area, keeping it quite thin there and drawing it out. So, it's a nice clean cut line, really close to the lash line, and then you're going to flick it up just so it flicks towards the angle of the end of the brow there.
Small gentle strokes till you get the right angle. Once you've finished the eye shadow and the flicked eyeliner, then you need plenty of black mascara because Aishwarya Rai's got gorgeously long lashes. Look down for me.
Just going to coat the top of the lashes. So, for this look, we went for a really nice neutral toned eye shadows, smoking it out slightl
