Amanda Holden Is Using Her British Talent To Challenge The Queues At Wimbledon
The Mystery Celebrity being coached by tennis legend Tim Hemnan is revealed as Amanda Holden!
Amanda has been revealed as the 'mystery celebrity' who was being coached by former tennis ace, Tim Henman. Amanda is taking her new-found skills to play against the waiting crowds on the opening day of the tournament on the Robinsons Court, a specially constructed tennis court next to the queues, to give them their first taste of the Wimbledon championships.
Step 1: Coaching Skills
Tim Henman: Well, I've been testing my coaching skills for Robinsons and been working with a mystery celebrity who's going to be giving someone a taste of Wimbledon when they're queuing outside the Championships on the first Monday.
Amanda Holden: I think I look a bit like Fern Cotton in most of the shots
Step 2: Hand Eye Co-ordination
Tim Henman: She's made my life very easy because she's obviously played a bit of tennis before and she's got good sort of hand-eye coordination. And she moves well, good sort of athletic ability. So it's been pretty straightforward for me.
Step 3: British Public
Amanda Holden: I think people obviously would have recognized me had I been allowed to speak. Tim Henman has been coaching me so that I can take on the British public as they're queuing for Wimbledon on the Robinsons Tennis Court. So it's going to be amazing. Hopefully. The training so far, I've come on in leaps and bounds. I think I could take on anyone.
Step 4: Andy Murray's Chances
Tim Henman: I think Andy Murray's got a very good chance. I think it's going to be exciting for everyone to watch this year because he missed last year through injury. So, it'll be good for everyone to be able to support him and I think you've got Federer and Nadal and probably Djokovic as the top three but then there's a group pretty close behind.
Step 5: Playing At Wimbledon
Amanda Holden: I am very excited to be playing at Wimbledon on the first day which is obviously going to be a huge surprise to people. I will be on center court. Not really. I will be slightly to the left, at the queue. But it's a real honor.
Step 6: X-Factor
I am absolutely thrilled with the public's decision to pick George because I really wanted a non-singer to win this year because I think it's better for the show. Because obviously it's not "Factor". And I also want to see if Simon Cowell can turn a dancer into a worldwide phenomenon like he did with Paul Potts.
I think he will be able to. I think George was the most deserving winner because he had a great story and it's actually going to change his entire life; the money and doing the Royal Variety as well is a great honor for him and his family. The three of us tend to disagree a lot because obviously Simon very often speaks the truth but hasn't kind of worked out a polite way of telling the truth. Piers tries to be Simon but obviously isn't he's a pale imitation and I think waffles on and uses too many big words and you just think \u201cOh for God's sake! Can't we just get it over with?\u201d And people aren't interested in what he's saying anyway. But apart from that, I adore them both.
