Avoid A Low Sperm Count- Naturally

The lowering sperm count:

We’re going to speak today on a controversial subject matter, and it is the lowering sperm count of the western male. Whether or not that is actually taking place we will sort of look at and examine. There is a lot of scientific literature out there that would suggest that the sperm count of the average western male has been lowered significantly over the last 20 years. I don’t fully subscribe to that yet, but I certainly do see some signs of it in the population. Not only do I have my bachelor of health science and masters of herbal medicine, I feel that I can speak coherently on this subject, being the father of six children, although as my father always said to me, “always know who your mother is, but you can never be real sure who your father is.”

There is some research out there that points to the fact that if sperm counts continue to drop at the rate that they’re considering to drop at this point that, by 2050, the western male will be impotent. Other studies suggest that there has been a 2% decline in sperm count in British males over the last 11 years. And other studies suggest, maybe, that this is just a storm in a teacup.

Fertility in women.

Other studies point to a rise in fertility issues for Western couples over the last 20 years, and I don’t necessarily look at it as just being older mothers leaving the workplace to have children as being the only issues. I think there are definitely seems to be a combination of older women having babies and falling sperm counts. I think one only has to go out on a Friday night and look at, look around, at some of the younger generation to see quite significant signs that point to possible low sperm count in those individuals.

This is obviously a concerning subject for a lot of people. Even Johnny Knoxville was shattered when he found out during filming of one of their episodes that he had the lowest sperm count of his whole gang. Even WeeMan had bigger sperm count than Johnny, and I actually, personally, have never looked at Johnny Knoxville the same since.

And would it make a difference to you? Would it make a difference to how you viewed your partner or your friends or other people in the world? Imagine if people were labelled, if people had to wear a badge that basically said: low sperm count. Would you continue dating that person if you were thinking of starting a family and you were tossing up between 2 or 3 people? And one had a high sperm count and 2 had a low sperm count, would that make a difference into who you looked at as a potential long-term partner?

Theories on low sperm counts:

So what’s actually happening? Is something happening? Are sperm counts declining? If they are, what are the reasons and mechanisms behind it? Is Kramer right -- is it the tight undies? I’ve certainly seen a few music videos with a lot of metrosexuals wearing a lot of very tight undies, so there may be some method behind Kramer’s madness. Is it the pesticides in foods? A lot of the pesticides that have infiltrated the food chain mimic hormones. Once you have a hormone mimicker inside your body, all types of things can happen. Some fish have become hermaphrodites because of the pesticides in the food chain. Some types of plastics, also, are hormone mimickers. Look at the hormones in usage in the livestock: beef, fish industries today. So basically the food is full of hormones. This has obviously got to imbalance your hormone levels.One mineral you can almost count on most people having a deficiency in, or borderline deficiency in, is zinc. One of the only great sources of zinc in the food chain are oysters. Half a dozen oysters every second day: probably what you need to have the correct amount of zinc in your body. There is a small amount of zinc in red meat and some grains, but once again, you have to look at the soils that that livestock fed on, where the grains were grown, how much zinc was in that soil.You can pretty much count on 80% of westerners, and who are just on your average diets as being borderline zinc deficient. Zinc is one of the major minerals important in testosterone production. So, the possibilities are endless as to why this could be happening. Look at the mental issues. Look at the gender issues facing a lot of teenagers and males today. Who knows what roles they play in potential for this issue?

What you can do:

Right, so what can we do about it if we have got an issue here? If you know you’ve got an issue here, obviously we’ve just mentioned oysters. So, half a dozen raw oysters every second day is certainly going to help. Supplement your diet with zinc. Zinc citrate is probably the best, the most bio-available form of zinc to take. That would be the type, the form of zinc that I would be advising you to look at. If you, of course, couldn’t have your half a dozen oysters every second or third day. Follow Kramer’s advice: loose boxer shorts, lose those tight undies, metro men. That’s certainly going to help. Panex ginseng. A shot of that every day. It’s a herbal medicine. My preference is liquids, but they do make tablets. A shot of that every day is certainly going to help. Exercise is going to help. Resistance exercise is certainly going to help. That will increase and boost testosterone levels. You can certainly look at naturally raising your testosterone levels through, I wouldn’t call it fasting but, we’ll look at this in a later topic, but you can raise your hormone levels naturally for vitality through fasting. This is something that I’ll go at in depth in later videos, or you can blog me on it at any time, of course, and we can go into it.But, of course, never start anything until you have all the information, until you’ve worked out whether or not the person telling you this has some idea of what they’re talking about or not.
