Step 1: Technique

I will now demonstrate to you how to open a massage sequence with a pleasureable back massage technique.

Step 2: Apply Oil

Firstly, apply some massage oil into the back of the recipient.

Step 3: Massage

Warm your hands and place them at the base of the spine. Breathe deep, and while breathing out, clout your hands towards the shoulders.

Always remember to keep the spine positioned between both hands. Having reached the shoulders, follow their contours with a gentle but even and firm pressure.

Slightly relax the pressure and return towards the base of the spine, massaging the sides of the body. Keep your hands open cutting through contact with the body.

It is important to perform an effleurage with both hands, not just with the fingers or the palms.
