Ingredients

  • 1 gammon
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 marmalade

Method

Soak the gammon overnight in cold water.

Remove from the soaking water and place in a pan of fresh cold water. Bring to the boil and simmer gently for 2-3 hours.

To make the marmalade glaze, melt the marmalade with the juice of half a lemon in a pan.

Remove the ham from the water and place on a baking dish. Paint over the marmalade glaze and bake for 35 minutes at 160 degrees Celsius.
