Hello, My name's Tom, I'm a Sales Manager from Love Smoothies, I'm here in the Ellior development kitchen to show you in these videos how to make a range of smoothies and shakes. In this video, we're going to show you how to make a berry smoothie. Step 1, you'll need the ingredients, and for this you're going to need orange juice, which you'll use as a base.

So, you can either use fresh oranges and squeeze the juice yourself, or you can juice from a carton. Then you'll need strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries, and you can use either fresh or frozen fruit for this smoothie. If you're going to be making your own orange juice from fresh oranges, you can either use an automatic juicer or you might need a hand-held juicer.

So, you can use either fresh fruit or frozen fruit for this one. If you're using fresh fruits, then you'll need the strawberries, raspberries and blackberries in roughly equal quantities, and you want to have them washed and ready for use. What we're going to do today is use frozen fruits.

We're actually going to use Love Smoothies Frozen Pouch, where the fruit is already mixed and made to the right recipe, so you've got strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries in roughly equal quantities in there. The great advantage of using frozen fruit is that when you've got your finished smoothie, it's going to be ice-cold where you haven't had to add any ice to it. If you do add any ice, it's going to water down the taste and the nutrition of the smoothie.

So, frozen fruit is great way of getting around that problem, it also means all the taste and nutrition is sort of locked in there. Our fruit is picked when it's at it's best and then quick-blast frozen, so you always get really great consistency of flavour. Now, we're going to use orange juice as a base, and we're using Eager Juice, which is not from Concentrate, really good quality and works really well with our smoothies.

So, you're going to need 200 millilitres of juice, it's 140 grams of fruit so if you're making your own with fresh fruit, then you can weigh out equal quantities of the three fruits and so the total is 140 grams. Then, add all of that fruit to the blender jug. So, once the blending is over, and you're satisfied there's no lumps in there, you can pour and serve your finished smoothie, and the 200 millilitres of orange juice with your 140 grams of fruit gives you a 12 ounce smoothie.

So, that's Loves Smoothies Berry Smoothie recipe. We used orange juice as a base and strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries.
