Breathing Techniques
MassageNerd.com show VideoJug users a number of key breathing techniques to employ within Massage. These breathing techniques will be extremely helpful for the person who you are massaging.
Step 1: Upper Chest Breathing
You want to work the diaphragm region. Breathe into my hand; breath in, breathe out. And as you can see she's mostly upper chest breathing so compress here, okay push up my hand--breathe out. Still upper chest breathing.
Step 2: Diaphragm
I will now push my hand up--there we go, okay now breathe out. It's really hard to breathe right from the down low region--diaphragm region--but that's where we should be getting most of our breaths from.
Step 3: Deep Breathing
Also, other breathing techniques too. You can also do--breathe in real deep--and then breathe out, and the arm goes like this, so alternate. Breathe in, breathe out. This one they can actually do standing up, so they can just breathe in, like this, and then breathe out like this. Just bring it around as much as you can.
Step 4: Other Breathing Techniques
You can also incorporate breathing techniques into--breathe in real deep for four seconds, one, two, three, four, hold it for two--one, two--breathe out for six, one, two, three, four, five, six--hold it for two, one, two--and just go on with that breathing technique. If they can't handle it shorten the numbers, or if they can handle it too easily extend the numbers as long as you want.
Step 5: Pectoral Region
Okay then the pec region, breathe into my hands, breathe out, just compress different areas with the breathing then too. You can just do it even with one area. Breathe into my hand--breathe out. Breathe into my hand--push, push, push--breathe out. So the thing is you can actually do it in both sides--breathe in, breathe out, breathe in, breathe out.
