Chef Skills - How To Dice

Step 1: You Will Need
- 1 sharp knife
- 1 chopping board
Step 2: Place your Chopping Board on a Flat Surface
Make sure your chopping board is on a flat, even surface. You could place a tea towel under the board to prevent it from slipping.
Step 3: Prepare your Vegetable
Peel and de-root your veg
Step 4: Slice the Vegetable
Holding the veg steady with one hand use the other to slice through the veg with a rocking motion, keeping the tip of the knife on the board, chopping it into strips of a quarter to half an inch thick.
Step 5: Cut into Cubes
Then, turn the strips around and cut into cubes, remembering to remove the excess from the board and prevent it getting overloaded.
