Chesting The Ball
Welcome to the Videojug Soccer School, brought to you in association with the Brazilian Soccer Schools. In this film we show you some drills to improve your chesting.
-
If the ball is too high to control with your feet or thighs and too low to head then your best option is to chest the ball. When you use your chest it is important to try and take as much pace off the ball as possible and put the ball in a position where you can pass or shoot instantly. The ball is easier to control on your chest than your head so if the ball is high, move back or jump so you can use your chest to control
