Christmas Door Decorating Ideas
Watch as Elissa and Baillie from Theme Traders show you how to create a Christmas wreath that will be sure to add some holiday spirit to your front door. It's fun. It's easy. And it's just in time for the holiday season!
So, today, we are going to show you how to make a fantastic Christmas wreath. So, starting from the basics, this is one we've made ourselves. It's just twigs wrapped around a wire.
Otherwise, if you don't want to make it yourself, you can always buy it from a local craft store. They usually have bases such as this. It can be any shape.
It can be round; we've got a tear drop shape here which is quite lovely. Absolutely! These, we actually made here, but alternatively, you can get them from your local garden center if you want to go with that as well, we've started with artificial holly and ivy. Alternatively, if you don't want to go out and buy that yourselves, you can always look through your garden or go down a country lane and get some if you need to.
Pinecones and fruits, fake or real, are always a lovely little touch to add as well to a Christmas wreath. So, to decorate the easiest, that we usually find, we have fantastic hot glue guns which are amazing for sticking things like holly into Christmas wreaths. If you don't have a hot glue gun, you can always use double sided tape stuck right to the end and use efficiently as so.
Otherwise, if the wreath is wound quite tightly, you can just push it right in. Other things that you can add to it are things such as bead decoration where you can just weave around. You can use ribbon as well.
Wreaths always look fantastic with a big bow as well. Nice finishing touch - you can always add a bit of glitter, or snow spray to make it look authentic like Christmas morning. This is one we prepared earlier so you can see we've used the fruit.
Also, the Christmas bulb is a fantastic decoration for Christmas wreaths. We've got our big bow on top and a little snow spray makes it look like Christmas morning. As you can see, our wreaths really do go into the best places. .
