Today, we're going to tackle for you some Christmas wrapping ideas for you. Now, at Christmas, presents come in all shapes and sizes, whether it be a cake stand, a vase, or even a gingerbread man. But we're just going to start with showing you traditional wrapping with paper and a box this type of size.
Traditional colors are always good but then you can always mix it up with some blues, some orange and something that makes it a little bit more colorful and makes your present stand out. I'll start with the traditional red. It's always good to make sure the paper isn't too big for the present because otherwise you will have lots of messy corners.
A handy tip is to always make sure that you've got a selection of cello tape already pre-cut. It just makes it a little bit faster and you don't have to worry about doing it in between. A good idea if you do have a few kids that you are wrapping for is to color coordinate all of their presents so that they know exactly which ones are theirs.
On a much larger scale as well, say you're doing an office Christmas grotto, if you've got, say, kids from 1 to 3, 5 to 7, 7 to 10, 14 upwards, is to also color coordinate all of those at the same time so you would have red for the first lot, green for the second, pink for third. Just so it makes it a lot easier and a lot faster when you're doing it that way, too. Always a good thing to remember is when you start wrapping with ribbon, the top is the side that you cover first because that means the bow is always going to be on the top because you need to criss-cross it over on the back.
I always like to use bendy wire. It just makes it more fun and you can shape the bow. Another thing that's really important to identify the gifts whether you are wrapping them all with the same colors is to make your own tags that you can put on them.
This is one that we had made before. This is a really nice idea putting traditional writing on it, even putting Christmas paper that can be grown into trees and just tag it on, a final little touch so everyone knows whose present is whose. And that is how you wrap the perfect Christmas present. .
