    This is true, me and my friend shared eye make up on holiday cos we onli took one set, but we both ended up havin a eye infection but mine lasted for almost 10 months and was very painful, it made my eyes swell up so bad and my eyes became too sensitive to light that i just slept all day,the best mascara to use for people who have had any eye infection is natural collection, i use it and its not only a good brand but doesnt irritate the eye like others

    wow i knew it was bad to share eye make up cause it causes a sickness in ur eye but i had no idea that it could cause u to get herpes?!?!?

    Yes, herpes! You can get the herpes virus in your eye. I actually know someone who is very close to me who had it in her eye when she was in her 20s. Now she has some vision completely lost in that eye. It's very dangerous. She now uses two mascaras (of the same brand and type) and has them labeled "left" and "right" so she cannot spread the virus to her other eye. The herpes virus is always in your body once you catch it. Whether you have it in your eye, on your lips (cold sores), or on your gentiles. Everyone should be extremely careful when sharing eye makeup! I normally never post comments on sites like this, but I was surprised by the comments below mine. I didn't realize how kept in the dark about these things some people are. Everyone should try and read up on this stuff if they are planning on sharing their makeup!
