In this video, we are going to show you how to make an easy smoothie recipe. Firstly, you are going to need your ingredients, and for this one, you only need two. It's a very simple classic recipe.

All you need are strawberries, bananas, and apple juice. Now, you can make the apple juice yourself by pressing some fresh apples, or you can use apple juice from the carton. If you want to keep it as easy as possible, probably using apple juice in the carton is the best way to go.

So, in terms of equipment, all you need if you're using carton apple juice, is a blender, with which to blend the apple juice and the fruits. So, there are two ways to make this smoothie. You can use fresh fruits, or probably the easier way is to use frozen fruits.

The advantage of frozen fruits is it's already been washed, peeled and chopped where needed. So, we are going to use frozen fruits for our recipe today. We're actually going to use a frozen smoothie pouch from Love Smoothies, so this takes it even at one step further.

We've already measured that to right amounts of fruit, which is equal quantities of strawberries and bananas, and it's 140 grams of fruit. In terms of juice, you're going to need 200 millilitres of apple juice and you just simply blend the two together and you've got a classic strawberry and banana smoothie. You put the juice in the blender first, it means none of the fruit is going to get trapped beneath the blade, and make sure that you get an even nice even blend.

So, add 140 grams of fruit. If you're using fresh fruits, weigh 140 grams, put that straight in. So, once the blending is finished, you're happy that there are no lumps, then you simply serve and your 200 ml of juice plus 140 grams of fruit has given you a twelve-ounce smoothie.
