Fishkeeping Top Tip: Position Of The Fish Tank
Here is a top tip in Fishkeeping, where best to position your fish tank for your fish. Colin Agness from Woodford Aquatics shows VideoJug users his top tip.
The position of the fish tank is vital for the well being of the fish.
Don't put it near radiators as it heats the water up.
Also don't put it in direct sunlight, as this stimulates algae, which can overgrow, not only clogging your tank, but raising the temperature of the water as well.
Make sure it stands on something sturdy, as they can be very heavy.
Try not to put it near doors, or where people will be running as the tank could be accidentally bashed. This would not only stress the fish, but make you liable to loose them.

Cheers mate, nice tips
Unfortunately, this guy does not know much about bettas - doesn't even know how to pronounce the word. They are BET-TAH - not baytah. Baytah is the pronunciation for the second letter of the Greek alphabet. The fish is BET-TAH (betta - two t's). They are also tropical fish that do NEED A HEATER. Their preferred temperatue is 78-80 degrees with a glass cover on the tank so the humidity is high too. A sponge filter is nice too. They do live in rice paddies (which are HUGE) or streams - NOT in puddles. They like to swim unless they are too cold (no heater and water temperature not 78-80) in which case they just lay on the bottom.
well i have never act upon the advices yet my fish is still alive but a bit dull
