Guitar - A Minor 7 Chord
VideoJug shows you how to play the guitar, introducing you to the A Minor 7 Chord and setting you on your way to playing your guitar chords.
Before you start to play check that your guitar is in tune. Watch our other films on how to tune your guitar, if you are unsure.
Play the A minor place the first finger on the first fret on the second string, the second finger comes across to the second fret on the D string and the third finger goes up on the G string. To create the seventh chord lift the third finger off.
Practise sliding from A minor 7 moving up to the the third fret with the first finger and pulling with the rhythm hand, placing the thumb above the A string and plucking with the first, second and third finger tucked in from the G,B and the top E strings upwards.
Once you are familiar with them practise moving from chord to chord, so that your notes do not have any buzzing or humming sounds. The progressions should sound fluid and smooth with practise.
