Guitar - Bar Chord Progression
Progressions should sound fluid and smooth with practise, so VideoJug shows you how to accomplish this on your guitar from the comfort of your own home.
Before you start to play check that your guitar is in tune. Watch our other films on how to tune your guitar, if you are unsure.
Playing in the root note of C from fret 8 bring in the third finger on the G string on the next fret up 9, bring in the third finger on the A string on fret 10 and the forth finger up on the D string. With right hand first strum the bottom three strings which is the base and then the top three strings which is the treble.
Practise playing the chords C, F, G, F back to C .
Once you are familiar with them practise moving from chord to chord, so that your notes do not have any buzzing or humming sounds. The progressions should sound fluid and smooth with practise.
