Here is a quick guide to the basics behind learning the G7 Chord. Practise with VideoJug and you'll soon be sounding great!

Before you start to play check that your guitar is in tune. Watch our other films on how to tune your guitar, if you are unsure.

To play the G7 chord place the first finger in the first fret on the top E string, use the small finger on the bottom E string in the third fret and finally the third finger on the A string in the second fret.

Practise playing down down up, down up, down up down…. Play the G chord, C to G7, D and then C.

Once you are familiar with them practise moving from chord to chord, so that your notes do not have any buzzing or humming sounds. The progressions should sound fluid and smooth with practise.
