Playing to break a bar adding in an off beat 1 and 2 and 2 and 3 and 4 and…which is a 4 + 4 called a grace note. Play 1 and 2 and 3 come off the 'and 3'.

Practise playing 1 and 2 and 3 adding D minor. Practise changing chords using the off beat from G major, D minor and C major .

Once you are familiar with them practise moving from chord to chord, so that your notes do not have any buzzing or humming sounds. The progressions should sound fluid and smooth with practise.
