Guitar - Relative Minors
here is a short video from VideoJug explaining all about relative minors. Great for a beginner or even those just refreshing their memory.
Before you start to play check that your guitar is in tune. Watch our other films on how to tune your guitar, if you are unsure.
Every major chord has a relative minor e.g C major's relative minor is A minor.
Practise these exercises playing A major and slide down 3 frets to play F minor. Play E flat on fret 6 and slide down 3 frets to play the C minor bar chord.
Once you are familiar with them practise moving from chord to chord, so that your notes do not have any buzzing or humming sounds. The progressions should sound fluid and smooth with practise.
