Hi, my name is Nick Davis, from simplicity remastered and today I am here to talk to you about what is in my equipment bag. These are hair straighteners or hair irons. They are from a company called, cloud nine.

They are the best irons on the market. They come in two sizes, small and large. The way to tell a very good iron is that, first things first, the quality of the materials used to make it, that there is a floating plate that can either be ceramic or ceramic coated.

The floating plate gives the hair tension but allows it to flow through, that you have a very curved edge on the plate, this allows the hair to flow through and if not pick up any snags from the hair, which is how baud and long lines appear in the hair. The small ones are primarily used for small hair and fringes, the larger ones are, of course, for much longer hair. They are exactly the same as the small ones but the key difference with this is that they have a temperature control.

By using the temperature control, it means that you can control how much heat and direct heat you are placing on the hair. Almost all hair only requires around, between a hundred and two hundred degrees of heat, anymore than that, it will dry the hair too rapidly and there will be no control in the finish result.
