This video explains what are the essential hair products to carry in your hairdressing bag, including brushes, water spray, and clippers.
Hi, my name is Nick Davis from Simplicity Remastered and today I am here to talk about what to put into my equipment bag. These are the extras that I keep in my bags. We have a neck brush.
This is for making sure that the client is comfortable and that all hair is kept away from their neck and face. This is always kept incredibly clean, washed regularly as with a lot of females this can build up with make up. I always carry my water spray.
I have chosen this one because it has a very fine mist which means the water will penetrate the hair better. If the water molecules are too big, it sits on the surface of the hair and it is hard to make the hair wet. I carry a small pair of clippers.
These are for cleaning little bits of hair around the neck, so as not to cut the neck with the scissors when trying to clean it with the scissors. I always carry a packet of Smint. Because, we work very closely with the clients and you must always have good breath.
I carry a small bottle of hair serum. Hair serum I use when I am doing hair straight as serum is like a laminate and it pushes moisture away from the hair. I also have a groom.
This is a more water based product. You may also use conditioner. This is for when I am styling curly hair.
I also have business cards to always make sure that I can pass my number around to my future clients and I always have a pen on me to take notes or if a client requires a pen, there is one easy to have. .
