There are many home remedies which we can find in our kitchen to make our hair very manageable and lovable. Find out what these home remedies are.
Hi. Today, I'm going to talk to you about home remedies, things that are in your kitchen cupboard that could help your hair. So, the first one I'm going to use is mayonnaise.
Mayonnaise can help condition, moisturize, shine and strengthen your hair. So, first, what you need to do is ensure the hair is completely dry before you start the procedure. You then section your hair and add the mayonnaise to your hair being careful not to rub too much.
Once you've actually added mayonnaise to the whole of your hair, smooth it back and tie it into a bun and just clip it up. You then put a shower cap or if you don't have that, a dry towel will even work and you leave it for about an hour. This gives it time to penetrate into the hair and leave it nice and shiny.
When you want to take the mayonnaise, you need to ensure that you put the shampoo straight onto the hair and don't wet the hair first because the mayonnaise is oily and it will take ages to come out. So, you put shampoo onto the mayonnaise, absolutely rub it in and then you use water to get rid of the shampoo and the mayonnaise, you then condition the hair and style as usual. Okay, another product that we can use, all old favorite olive oil.
Now, this is ideal for taming curly or dry hair. So, you basically take your olive oil and put a tiny bit in the palm of your hands. You then rub it into both of your hands and smooth it through your hair making sure you get right through to the middle.
Be careful not to put too much on because you'll find your hair will be very greasy. You then comb through your hair and style as usual. Another product I can recommend is coffee.
Coffee can help to enhance color, the darker shades of hair. So, you basically just brew your coffee as you would normally and then basically let it go cool for about 30 minutes so at least, it will still be lukewarm. Don't use cold coffee, otherwise it won't work.
The hair again needs to be completely dry before you start this process and then you just basically pour the coffee over your head, so tilt your head back in the bath or something like that. Pour the coffee over all of your hair and then again, you just twist it up and just clip it up and leave for about 30 minutes. Make sure that you wash and condition as usual.
Make sure you don't add milk and sugar to your coffee. And if it's shine that you're looking for, I can recommend beer. I use it on my own hair.
So, basically, this is the easiest way to make your hair shiny and full-bodied. The beer adds protein and helps to repair damaged and dry ends. Okay, so what you need to do is again, your head over the sink or bath, pour the beer over your hair, make sure it coats the hair completely and leave it for about 10 to 15 minutes.
Then you shampoo and condition and style your hair as normal, thick, full, glossy hair. And for an emergency color correction, we use our favorite tomato ketchup. So, if you have blonde hair and it's been recently dyed, you may find that when you go on holiday or when you get in the swimming pool, the chlorine actually tints your hair with a little bit green.
A way to actually counter this effect is to coat your hair with tomato ketchup and leave for about 20 minutes and this will neutralize the effect. You then wash and condition your hair as normal. And those are my home remedies for all types of hair. .
