I'm going to teach you how to do 50/50 grinds today, front side and backside. Speed's the key, really. It's got to hit a little bit of speed in there.

I'll try and show you a front side one coming this way. So, for the 50/50, you're going to come up quite parallel, front side 50/50, quite parallel, a lot of speed's the key, heel slightly off, and you're going to give it a nice big pop. You need both the tracks on there at the same time.

Speed's going to carry you through the glide and then you're just going to lift up the nose, just drop it off and then just roll away clean. For the backside 50/50, you're going to need speed again, that's one thing. You're going to want to come in slightly more of an angle rather than parallel.

I find it easier- so you've got the nice top and I find it a bit easier to get my front truck on there first and just guide the back one on. But you're going to be using your toes a lot more on this one, to hold it on that toe edge wheel, and again, just speed's going to carry you out. You're going to land it, so it's just the angle you need to remember to come in at slightly.

Then I'm going to come in parallel, going to come in at a bit more of an angle, then ride out, little flick, done. There. So, the front side 50/50, if you're goofy like me, going to be coming at it like this.

So you want to come up, I don't know, feet sort of like here, off a bit if you go in front side, and again, yeah, speed's the key. So, then you want a nice pop up and get it in. Try and like, get it to the back wheels sort of thing, so you're locked in, and then just drop it out and roll away.

And that's how to do the 50/50.
