How To Activate The Numeric Keypad On A Laptop

Today, we are here to show you how to activate the numeric keypad on your laptop keyboard. To active the numeric keypad on your laptop, press the 'Fn' key, which you will find at the bottom left of the keyboard. Press this with the 'f11' key, you may hear a bleep on the laptop and/or a message on screen saying that the numeric keypad is now active.

If you now look at the keys m, j, k, and l, and u, i and o, you should see small numbers just underneath for the 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, and also 7, 8, 9 above these complete the numeric keypad. You can now use these keys to activate numbers as they stand, or when used with the 'alt' key to type symbols, special characters, and accents.
