How To Add Music To Your Apple IDVD Slideshow

Putting the best of your pictures into an Apple iDVD slideshow is just the first step to making an outstanding multimedia presentation. The next step is finding the right music to play with your Apple iDVD Slideshow and really make that presentation great. We'll show you how to make that happen.

Step 1: Menu Me

Open your IDVD project. The interface displays your menu. Click on the "Media" button on the bottom right-hand corner of the interface...At the top of the "Media" pane you will see an audio tab. Click on it. You will see your garage band and itunes libraries displayed below...Find the song you want to play under your menu and drag it onto an empty space.

Step 2: Make It Hum

From the main interface. Click on the button that contains your slideshow. This interface gives you a number of options such as changing the duration of your pictures, the volume of the music, and how you want your pictures to transition…Drag and drop the song you want into the square next to the volume bar...for multiple songs drag in a playlist from ITunes.

Step 3: Burn It

Simply insert a blank DVD. Click the burn button on the lower right hand side and enjoy your groovy tunes with your pictures.
