How To Apply Acne Concealer

Hi. Today, I'm going to show you how to apply concealer for acne. It is known as concealer for blemishes and you need a yellow-based concealer and a small concealer brush.

A nice one with a nice tapered edge is usually quite good. You are just going to apply a bit of concealer onto the back of your hand. This is quite different from the concealer that you use underneath the eye area because that has a peachy brown tone to it whereas the acne concealer tends to have more of a yellow base.

Swipe the brush into the concealer and then just over the blemish or bit of acne, pat on the concealer. Give it quite a lot of coverage and then you are going to use your ring finger to warm it up and blend it so that it soaks into the skin. And there you can see, it has disappeared into the skin and covered the blemish as well.

You can also do the same over here. Then, pat it all around. Try not to pat onto the blemish or the acne area too much because you may end up taking away the concealer.

It's just around so you blend it into the rest of the skin tone. And what I would recommend is try not to apply to much powder once you're setting your foundation over the concealer where the blemishes are because the dryness will just really show through and it will actually make your blemish or your acne more prominent. You need to keep the area quite dewy and quite moist so it's quite important that you moisturize beforehand really well.

So, what I've done over here then is I've applied concealer with the brush first over the blemish or acne area. Blended it with my ring finger just to warm it up, not pressing too hard and then you can just leave it a couple of minutes so that it can soak into the skin and that will give you a really good coverage overall.
