How To Apply Blue Eye Liner

In this video, I'm going to show you how to apply blue eyeliner. There are two different types of brushes that you can use: either a slant brush or a small tipped brush. I prefer to use a slant brush, because you can get a much thinner line, which is closer to the lashes.

So, you load up the brush with the eyeliner, and then basically what you do is you apply it to the eye. But you don't want to start right in the corner of the eye, because that will actually close the eyes up. What I'm going to do is start just before the corner of the eye, and I'm placing my brush as close to the lashes as I can get it, and I'm just gently pressing the brush into the very edge of the eye.

And the secret is, is to build up gradually rather than try to do one sweeping line. Because if you try and do one sweeping line, you'll end up smudging, or creating a wonky line. So, it helps to stretch the skin to make sure that you get all the little bits filled in, particularly if you're a more mature person.

Then certainly the skin may be a bit looser on the top of the eye, and you'll need to stretch even more. Open your eye for me. And we're just going back into the pot again, and we're just intensifying that color by pressing down onto the line that we've already created.
