How To Apply Burlesque Make Up

This is a guide to how to apply burlesque makeup and all of girls do the more vintage look, how I am today, but today, we're going to Jo King Styling. We are going to start with a little tiny bit of blush, just to accentuate these gorgeous cheek bones, and eyes are really important in burlesque so we are going for a really glitzy glamorous look here so we're going start with a bit of a cream just so the glitter will stick. Just going to put it all over the eye, so we can get the glittery all over the eye.

Now, I'm going to pour out some of the glitter on here and just dab that on over the eye to get that gorgeous glitzy look which will sparkle on stage. Dab that all over where we just put the cream. Now while that just sets, we're just focused on the eyebrows.

The eyebrows are really important in burlesque, very very much a focal feature. So we're just going to paint over the eyes, how currently are again, like a said, a lot of the girls that do the vintage look will do a more prominent arch but we're just going to follow the shape of the eyebrow here. Now, another important part is mascara.

Now, this is very important to define the eyelashes again, a lot of girls, the dark, but we are going to use glittery here today and the same kind of way you'd do any liquid eyeliner. Just cross the bottom of the lid just like that and flick out. I like a bit of glitz, does momma, useful flick out there, perfect, so glitzy and glamorous.

Now, a bit of mascara to finish off those eyes, so just open your eyes you can see how it's going to glitter on stage. Now, we're just going from the root through to the top and again on this side, root through to the top. A lot of girls use false eyelashes great on stage.

We got some nice glitzy glamorous ones here, dub a bit of glue across. Not a lot of girls use tweezers just for that kind of precision, again sticking it really close to the eyelids just dabbing it in really, really gently we don't want to poke anyone in the eye so we are just going to do the same on the other side. .
