How To Apply Eyebrow Make-Up

How To Apply Eyebrow Make-Up: Make-up artist Lisa Glassock shows you how to apply eyebrow make-up to help frame your eyebrows and eyes.

Step 1:

You will need

  • Hairspray
  • Eyeshadow brush
  • Lash wand
  • Dark brown powder eyeshadow
  • Slanted eyebrow brush
  • Highlighting eye shadow
Step 2:
Pluck your eyebrows into a good shape.
Step 3:
Brush your eyebrows with an eyebrow brush or old mascara brush.
Step 4:
Apply the eyebrow makeup in the direction of the hair growth.
Step 5:
Apply a light dusting first, then build up as needed.
Step 6:
With the mascara or eyebrow brush, remove any excess powder from the eyebrow.
Step 7:
Use a strong hold hairspray on the brush and comb through each eyebrow.
Step 8:
Use a light eyeshadow underneath the eyebrow to define the shape.

Shouldn't there be a gradation-light to dark- from the inner corners to the outer corners? The model has close-set eyes. The makeup artist started one heavy application from the inside out, which helped emphasize the model's close-set eyes.

I can't stand with eyebrows with the bits of hair is not trimmed (close to middle eyebrow). Reminds me of one eyebrow old woman in Turkey. thanks.

Could they have used a model with worse shaped eyebrows? i am shocked! Good tips, I loved the hairspray idea, but her eyebrows are a bad advert

That model's eyebrow shape sucks. I'm glad mine are fuller than that and have an arch. I wonder how much they plucked hers...looks like too much.

Not everyone has 'perfectly shaped arched eyebrows'. Sometimes people over pluck so they need to fill them in. Black makeup on eyebrows is NOT what everyone needs because different people have different colored eyebrow hair. Don't be so ignorant and suggest stupid/false tips.

I ALREADY HAVE PERFECTLY SHAPED ARCHED EYE BROWS TRUST ME ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS PUT SOME BLACK MAKEUP ON THE EYEBROWS TO MAKE THEM POP
