Hi, my name's Abigail Oleck, and I'm the founder of Beaubronz and spray tanner to the stars, and now I'm going to share with you my top tanning tips. Okay, so now I'm going to show you how to apply the perfect fake tan at home. So, the first thing that you need to do before you apply any fake tan to your skin is you need to make sure that your skin is really hydrated and exfoliated.

So I'm going to use some exfoliator product here, and what this is is organic aloe vera and fruit acids. So the organic aloe vera is going to hydrate the skin, and the fruit acids, and my little buffing mitt, is going to aid exfoliation. So I'm going to show you on my leg.

So, basically, we're just spraying Exfoliese all over my leg. And then we're taking the buffing mitt, and that's just going to buff away, and what that's going to leave me with is really super hydrated skin with none of those dry, flaky bits at the front of the legs that us girls get. Now, when you're applying a fake tanning product, I'm going to teach you how to customise colours yourself.

So what we've got here is a mixture of 8, 4, and 1 percent DHA. Now, for my leg, I'm going to show you how to apply an 8 percent DHA product. Now because this is a more professional strength product, on your leg, you would apply just down to here.

You wouldn't apply it over the foot area, or around the ankle, and when you're applying it on your arms, you would stop about 2 inches away from the wrist, because we're going to use a different colour there and I'm going to show you how to blend it. So, to start with, we're going to apply a mousse product to the leg, and as you can see, I haven't taken it all the way down to the end. Now, because this is an 8 percent strength product, it's very important that you use a tanning mitt.

If you use your own hand, the DHA is going to sink into your hands and you're going to have tanned palms. So, what we're going to do now is circular movements; we're just going to apply the fake tan. Now, when something is as strong as 8 percent, you really do want to take care just to keep blending in circular movements, and really take your time with it.

Now you can see already that there's a really rich colour that's starting to appear on my leg. Obviously, because we're on camera here, I'm going to stop here and not take it all the way up, but you would actually take this all the way up your body. Now, as you're noticing now, towards the end here, you're starting to see that there is no colour, but we've got that lovely 8 percent DHA being applied all to the leg.

So, around your ankle and your foot area, we're now going to take a lighter colour - we're going to take a 4 percent. Now, because 4 percent is much lighter, you can actually use your hands with this. So, we're going to take a little bit of the 4 percent, we're going to put that onto the top of the foot, and we're going to blend that all around onto the ankle.

So, what you're going to get then, is a real sort of rich colour on the leg that's going to fade away onto the foot and to the ankle. So, if you take a little look at my arm now, because I did this yesterday, you can see you've got a dark colour on the arm, and then it fades away into a lighter colour on the hand. My hand is not the same colour as my arm, but that's what looks natural.

And that's the same process that you would apply onto your legs. So you've got the darker colour, and then the lighter colour on the foot. Then, every day, once this has developed, which is going to take 8 hours, you want to use a product which is a very light percent DHA, so we're going to use a 1 percent, and I'm going to show you on the other leg.

So, basically, every day, you would use a very light colour. This is organic aloe vera and 1 percent DHA, and if you apply this every day, it will keep this part where you've put the 4 percent, this part where you've put the 8 percent, completely blended. It will maintain it.

It will keep it very skin-conditioned because it's got organic aloe vera. And that's the way to have the best fake tan at home. You've got to take your time.

You've got to exfoliate. You've got to hydrate the skin. You've got to use different colours for different areas of the body.

So, stronger on the legs, lighter on the feet, stronger on the arms, lighter on the hands, strong on the chest, but again, light on the face. And then keep it all blended by using a very light 1 percent DHA product. .
