Hi. Today, I am going to show you how to apply foundation with a brush, and it is really important about the type of brush you use and the best ones I tend to use are the Mac 190 brushes. It is a really nice soft foundation brush which is really thin and tapers towards the top.

So, it really helps apply the foundation quite sheer but then you can build up the coverage with this brush so it is a really good brush to use. I am going to use a liquid foundation for this technique but you can use the cream to powder as well. Just going to pour a bit of foundation on to the back of my hand, just to warm up the foundation, just swirl the tip of your brush into the foundation so it applies evenly onto both sides of the brush and this will help you to apply foundation to the face as well and starting from the centre, in gentle strokes, just blend outwards and all over the face and always work from the centre towards the edge of the face.

Short strokes help blend the foundation together. Just going around the eyebrows, not to apply foundation to the eyebrows and just work it towards the hairline. Really focus on getting the tip of the brush into the small areas of the face, wipe the nose and around the lips and if you do apply the foundation over the lips, it just helps your lipstick stay longer and that's how to apply foundation with a brush. .
