How To Apply Green Eye Liner
There are many different types of eyeliners and they are in many different shades of colour. You have to know what colour actually suits you before you start applying the eyeliner.
Hi. I'm Faye from simplyfaye dot co dot uk. I've been a make-up artist for twenty years and I'm going to give you some tips on how to apply make-up.
In this video, I'm going to talk to you about how to apply green eyeliner. I'm actually going to be using a slant brush to apply the eyeliner. I prefer to use a brush rather than a pencil because I find you can get more of the precise line and they last longer.
There are many types of green eyeliner. I'm actually going to use a powder with water to make sort of a fluid eyeliner. You can buy gel eyeliners and you can buy pencil eyeliners but this is the way I prefer to do it.
So, I'm going to pop my eyeliner brush into some water and then I'm going to mix it with my powder eye shadow. It's important to note that not all eye shadows can be used with water so you should check before you buy them whether you can use them with water. I'm going to stretch the skin and I'm going to apply the eyeliner as close to the lashes as I can get them.
I'm not going to put it right into the corner because that will close the eyelashes up. So, you're going to maybe start about five millimeters before the corner of the eye, and I'm gently just sweeping my brush across the eyelid, as close to the lashes as you can get it. Just open your eye for me.
And what I'm doing is I'm starting off gradually and then I'm building up the colours. I'm going to load my brush up again with colour and then come back on to the eye and build it up. Just open your eye.
And then I'm loading up again. Just open your eye for me. And I'm just going to where I've started the eyeliner in the corner of the eye, I'm actually just going to smudge that down a little bit because it's looking a bit bulky.
So, you're just going to lay the brush close to the lash as you can and blend it in. Just open your eye and close and open and close. I'm now just going to take the eyeliner out of the eye slightly as it's quite a funky colour.
Open your eyes. And that's how you apply green eyeliner. .
