How To Apply Hair Streaks
Ladies, we all know how difficult it is to pick a colour for your hair. That's why this video is so useful. It describes the process to use in order to pick a great colour for your hair highlights or lowlights without washing you out or creating a green tint.
Today, we're going to show you how to do highlights for brown hair. When we're choosing lowlights to go over blonde hair, one of the most important things to remember is when your hair has been lifted up to this light in the ends, all the warmth has been taken out of it and the red pigment and the underlying warm pigment has been taken out. When we're putting in a natural brown back over the top, it does need to have some warmth in it.
If you put on a lowlight, that's too ashy or too flat in colour, that's when you start to get your green hair, and you start to get a really matte colour, so we do need to deposit a little bit of blonde back into the hair to do a lowlight. I have a very blonde. So, we chose highlights and lowlights.
We've used our ash blonde, a golden blonde, and we've used a natural brown for the lowlights. And see, with the patterns I've used, they've fallen quite naturally. And that's how you apply hair streaks. .
