How To Apply Lip Concealer

In this video, I'm going to show you how to apply lip concealer. There are no specific lip concealers that I know of on the market, however you can use an ordinary concealer or a bit of foundation. The purpose of applying a lip concealer is just to help to even out the lip tone and to create a nice shape.

So what I'm going to do is I'm actually going to apply the concealer with a brush all over the lips. This will help any lipstick stay on longer, and actually create a really good base for the lipstick to stay on. And it also pales out the lips, so therefore you can go on with any color, and the color will be true rather than some people have quite highly pigmented lips, so for instance, if you wanted to put a pale color on and they've got quite red lips naturally, the pale color will show up differently, probably brighter, because their natural lip color will shine through and distort the actual color of the lipstick you want to put on.

It's always best to use a concealer that's a shade lighter than your skin tone, because that will really help neutralize the lip color, and it will also help the lipstick adhere to the lips for longer. And that's how you apply lip concealer. .
