How To Apply Loose Powder

Hi. Today, I'm going to show you how to apply loose powder. Now, it comes in these types of pots, you can buy from any cosmetic counter and you just need to pour a bit into the lid.

Gentle tapping, not too much, and we're going to use the rest of the powder in the lid rather than in the tub. To apply this, I'm going to use a cotton pad. Just pat the cotton pad into the lid to pick up some powder, tap off the excess.

Now, I've already applied foundation and concealer to the face so the powder is used to set this. In gentle rolling patting motions, just pat on the powder. Don't worry about applying too much in certain areas because you're going to brush this off with a brush later.

Start by the nose area and pat outward in gentle rolling motions to sort of press the foundation into the skin around by the nose area. If you do have dry skin, you just need to pick up less powder on the actual pad. Cover the entire face.

Once you've applied the powder with the pad, then get a loose fluffy brush and we're going to just sweep away excess powder from the face in outward motions. This will help evenly distribute it and take away the excess. Gentle sweeping motions down the nose just around the chin area, this helps really get the powder into the skin and give it a really nice overall flawless coverage.

So, to apply the loose powder, I had already put the foundation and the concealer over the face and then I picked up the loose powder with a cotton pad, applied it all over the face and then I went over it with a large fluffy brush just to brush away the excess and blend it into the skin.
