How To Apply Mac Foundation

Hi. Today, I am going to show you how to apply a MAC foundation. Now, Mac does many different types of foundations; there are liquid ones or there are cream ones, and it's up to you whichever one you actually prefer.

But today, I'm going to show you how to use a liquid one because it's my preference, it applies really sheer or you can build up the coverage as well. To apply it, I am going to use a brush and it's the Mac 190 brush which works really well with the cream or the liquid foundation. Just going to apply a bit to the back of my hand, just warm up the foundation on the back of your hand, will really help it soak into the skin.

Now, this is Mac's Studio Fix Fluid and it's a really nice buildable coverage foundation. So, you just apply it to the cheeks in small gentle strokes but you would use the same technique if you were using the cream to powder foundation as well. Work it down the nose and up out towards the hairline and along the forehead.

Make sure you don't go over your eyebrows with foundation because it looks quite chalky. Just move the hair back and work it into the hairline as well. Don't forget to cover the ears slightly.

Do go over your lips as well it helps keep your lipstick on longer. Go underneath the eye area and close toward the eye but you would be applying concealer here to get the flawless finish, anyway. This foundation is really nice and light as well and you can actually use it for photographic makeup or you can use it as a daily base and but just apply it sort of sheerer.

I do actually use this foundation on a daily base for myself so it works very well for everyday use or special occasions as well. And that's how to apply a Mac foundation. .
