How To Apply Natural Bridal Make-Up

How To Apply Natural Bridal Make-Up

Make-up artist Lauren Dunn shows you how to create a natural, flawless look for your wedding day.

Step 1: Treatment Foundation by Dermalogica

Blend well with a large flat brush, particularly along the jaw line.

Step 2: Lift Concealer by Make Up For Ever

Apply under-eye concealer with a small brush and pat it gently into the skin with your fingers - rubbing will damage the delicate under-eye skin.

Step 3: Secret Camoflage by Laura Mercier

Apply with a brush and pat into any areas of the skin which are red or discoloured.

Step 4: Loose Blot Powder by Mac

Press into the areas where you applied concealer, to help it set. Dust the powder over your eyelids and along the T-zone.

Step 5: Bronzer by Bobbi Brown

Apply with a large brush moving from the middle of the forehead, under the cheekbones and down to the jaw to form a back-to-front 3.

Step 6: Lady Blush by Mac

Pat onto the apples of your cheeks with a finger.

Step 7: Eye Basic by Laura Mercier

This liquid-to -powder should be applied onto the eyelids to form a base for your eyeshadow.

Step 8: Nude Lip and Eye Palette by Bobbi Brown

Use a neutral eyeshadow and apply it by pressing into the eyelid with a brush - this will ensure it stays in place.

Step 9: Eyeshadow by Mac

Use a darker eyeshadow in the crease of the eyelid to create a contour to your eyes.

Step 10: Gel Eyeliner by Bobbi Brown

Apply along the upper lash line. Take it thicker along the outer corner of each eye.

Step 11: Eyeshadow by Mac

Use the same dark eyeshadow over the eye liner and under the lower lash line.

Step 12: Volume Express Mascara by Maybelline.

Apply to the roots of the upper lashes and use the tip of the wand to brush the lower lashes.

Step 13: Highlighting Eyeshadow by Mac

Apply to the inner corners of each eye to open them up.

Step 14: The Multiple by Nars

Apply this cream highlighter to the top of your cheekbones and along the brow bone.

Step 15: Baby Lips by Laura Mercier

Line your lips with a pink lip liner and use a dry lip brush to blend it in.

Step 16: Eight Hour Lip Tint by Elizabeth Arden.

A fresh pink colour complements a white dress. Blend well over the lip liner.
