Hi I'm Ava Belle international make-up artist. You can see my work at ava-belle.com.

Today I'm going to show you some of the tricks of the trade and some of my make-up secrets.
Today I'm going to show you how to use a loose powder with a little colored pigment in it.
This is just to take off shine and give you a little bit of coverage.

Going through the
t-zone is going to help remove any of that shine. And you can choose to keep your cheeks
nice and dewy or you can go for full coverage and sweep over all of the face. Give a
beautiful even matte finish, just depending on the part that you like, also I'm going
into the eyelids.

Sometimes you get a little bit of crease.
The foundation is set and pat it out before we prime and just set the foundation or
prime with a brush. You can also take a smaller brush and use the pressed powder on the
eyelids when repairing make-up.

Eye shadow will blend out very evenly. It will stop the
base from creasing. Some people continually keep powdering through out the day.

You can
tend to get a build up of powder and it will start to look cakey and a little bit flaky.
Not a good look. I would advise to keep some blush paper and you can just gently blot any
excess oil off through the t-zone and under the eyes and on the chin.

Then if you need a
slight bit of powder just a tiny bit, less is always more when you're using powder.
And that's how to apply pressed powder for a flawless finish.
