How To Apply Purple Eyeshadow
When it comes to eye makeup, purple eye shadows may test your taste. Luckily, in this video, you will be guided on how to apply it properly.
Hello, my name is Karla Barchieri. I'm a freelance makeup artist, and today, I'm going to show you a few makeup tips. Now, I'm going to show you how to apply purple eye shadow.
The best way I could apply purple eye shadow is by combining two shades of purple just to give that depth to the eye and not make it too flat. So, I'm going to use quite a light purple on my model. Do remember to prep your model and make sure that you prep the eye as well as I did and this is what I'm going to put all for the whole lid.
It's pretty much across the whole lid. You put in the shimmery eye shadow, purple everywhere, quite sparkly. Now, I'm going to use a more intense shade of purple just to contour the end and the edges of the eye just to give that definition.
Still, you're keeping it all purple but you will see the difference between the two shades and it's going to make this eye shadow just stand out. Open it a bit more. So, I'm going to bring it to the outside and I'm going to contour the two shades together subtly.
So, one is very pastel and the other one is more intense but they're both shimmery and there's no other way for this rather than apply them as you dab the brush onto your eye and the reason being you want to avoid excess going on your face. Okay, open your eyes for me please. After you've done your lid, you can now go under where your lower eyelashes are and you're just going to follow along with your darker shade of purple just to give, again, more definition to the eye.
Just go follow along because the colour purple matches or suits brown eyes and my model happens to have brown eyes so she looks beautiful. Okay, and this is my take on how to apply purple eye shadow. .
